If you are a current generation old school or stayed in the US in the 70’s or 80’s it is almost impossible that you haven’t heard of the jingle “If you’ve got the time, we’ve got the beer.” This jingle was composed by the ad legend late Bill Backer. Almost after a century of the Greenwich Meridian Time, we let the world to know that it’s Miller time.
This jingle captured the imagination of the long-lasting American dream that celebrated personal highs, merry time, times with friends, times spent in the neighborhood bar supporting your favorite team, time spent fishing, firefighting in the jungle, all at the end waking to “It’s Miller Time”.
After every long day we always believed what this sassy jingle said, “If you’ve got the time, we’ve got the beer”. It’s Miller time. Cheers!
